The Pinchgut Opera production has also been released, and we've been invited to produce the recording for this year's production in December.
The Pinchgut Opera production of L'anima del filosofo was recorded at Angel Place, Sydney in conjunction with Greenside Productions and the ABC. It was recorded at 24/96kHz and equipment included DPA, Schoeps and AKG microphones, Sonodore preamps and Mytek converters. This exciting historically-informed performance is due for release around the middle of 2011.
